Objectives: The review points up deficiencies in clinical trials and standardized safety evaluations, highlighting the necessity of thorough human research and toxicity analysis.. The phytochemical constituents present in Acalypha indica are flavonoids, saponins. In keeping with its historical applications in the treatment of wounds, inflammatory diseases, and skin infections, these components support the plant's antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant qualities. Current research points to the effectiveness of free radical neutralization in anti-aging formulations, skin barrier improvement, and acne mitigation.
