Abstract

An experimental investigation was conducted to determine the γ-photons' attenuation in tungsten. The aim of the investigation is to determine the thermophysical characteristics of a tungsten specimen in the 300–1075K temperature range. Furthermore, photon interaction parameters at various γ-photon energies have been assessed by extending the attenuation investigation.
