Abstract

Introduction: Epulis fissuratum or denture induced hyperplasia is one of the most common results of ill-fitting denture or denture abuse represents as tumor like reactive lesion of oral mucosa. This condition more commonly seen in females and have predilection for maxillary arch. It can be treated by surgical excision followed by complete healing and fabrication of new well-fitting liquid supported characterized complete denture prosthesis. This case report represents Prosthodontics- Periodontics interdisciplinary approach for treating tissue hyperplasia in both arches caused due to irritation from existing ill-fitting complete denture in 65-years old male patient.
